Can I boil herbal mixtures inside of an electric kettle and will it be easy to clean?

I would like to make some herbal tea in my dorm and was thinking of using an electric kettle. However, the herbs that I am using need to be boiled to steep properly. Can I just boil them inside the kettle and will it be easy it clean?

You could if you wanted to but I wouldn’t advise it. You will need to clean out the kettle and the herbs shouldn’t be boiled, but steeped. Goodness knomw what the tea would taste like, but I don’t think I would like some.

No, you could ruin the kettle.

You could, but there is a high chance u could ruin the kettle and i doubt it would taste very good

use the electric kettle to boil the water and then pour the boiling water over your tea leaves in your cup. Allow to steep for 3-4 minutes and your tea is finished.
No need to boil the tea.
