It’s just a ton of little white spots all over the bottom-inside of the kettle. If it is mold, what can I do to get rid of it?

If you use the tea kettle at home in the United States, where electricity is delivered to homes at 120V, how much power will it consume?

        This is how NOT to do it:

        1700 = 220(current)
        current = 7.727 A

        P = 7.727(120) = 927.3 W

        Why is that incorrect? What is the correct way to do this?

I was at home visiting my parents and I wanted some tea. We have an electric tea kettle so I put some water in it and tunred it on. About 5-10 minutes later, I said to my parents man your tea kettle is slow. My dad said it takes some time be patient. Then he looked over at the tea kettle, noticed it was unplugged and started cracking up. I felt really stupid…BUT I laughed at myself, and I eventually got to ahve some tea.
