Which uses more electricity? An electric hot water kettle or the small burner on my electric stove?
~I use a small saucepan to with just enough water in it to boil 1 mugs worth of water every morning for my coffee, I do this on the small burner of my electric stove, the water boils in about 3-5 minutes
~would using one of those electric water kettles that rapidly boil water be more energy efficient?
or are both about the same
~just curious, I don’t own one of those electric kettles so i doubt i’m gonna go out and buy one, unless it would actually pay for itself in energy savings within a few months…

I would like a silent tea kettle?
I’m looking for a quiet tea kettle because I’m going to college and I’m an early riser, I don’t want my kettle to bother my room mate who may still be asleep when I wake up. I bought an electric tea kettle thinking it would be quieter than my stove top kettle. It makes an awful loud gurgling type noise before it even reaches a boil. I would just like something that won’t bother my room mate.
So, are there electric kettles that don’t make that noise. It’s difficult to describe.

Should misandry (hatred of men) be made politically incorrect?
It often seem like you can’t say positive things about men without being labelled as a sexist or otherwise abused.
Like saying positive things about men and pointing out things that men have done throughout history. Not that it matters to me. As an equalist I couldn’t give a shit about whether it was a man or a woman who invented Tippex, electric kettles, or whatever, or who was the first man or woman into outer space.
The polcorists attempt to promote their own and because they misguidedly perceive it as a fight they make it seem as though it’s a constant struggle between men to women to see who’s "better" or "who was first". You get groans whenever mentioning some fact about a great man. I don’t understand it at all. What’s wrong with praising something worthwhile that a man has contributed to society?
You can’t add value to the accomplishments of women by devaluing the accomplishments of men. It’s not a counterbalance. Equality is defined by putting everyone on the same playing field, not by putting each gender on opposite sides of the scale.
Even some women have been rebuked by other women for being positive about men. This English teacher hates women for pointing that exact same thing out. Almost every conversation the class has, it has something to do with women’s accomplishments and socially belittling men in the process.
